All latest information about IAPF conferences will be posted here
Welcome to the IAPF Conferences page.

While we do not currently host a dedicated conference, we are laying the groundwork for what will become a powerful global gathering space,  a place where rhythm, culture, and creativity meet purpose.

As part of the International ArtsGames movement, the IAPF (International ArtsGames Percussion Federation) sits within a broader infrastructure built by the International ArtsGames Committee (IAC). The IAC is composed of Olympians, artists, educators, and visionaries, united under a mission to “demonstrate the excellence which exists in all cultures.

Our conferences will be more than events: they will be engines for cultural exchange, collaboration, and social impact. We envision them as hubs where our global network of percussionists, rhythm educators, cultural practitioners, sponsors, and policymakers can come together to:

  • Share best practices in percussion across diverse cultural traditions — from African djembe to Latin congas to East Asian taiko.

  • Explore education and training programs, helping to elevate standards and certify excellence in rhythm arts.

  • Develop new competition frameworks that align with the ArtsGames model: world-championships, national qualifiers, and a future ArtsGames gathering. Strengthen our global network of National ArtsGames Federations (NAFs) by providing strategic guidance, governance support, and funding pathways.

  • Host panels, masterclasses, and keynotes on how percussion and rhythm can be tools for unity, healing, and social change — endorsing our core belief that rhythm is a universal language.

  • Showcase how rhythm-driven art can feed into the larger ArtsGames vision, contributing to a world stage that celebrates artistic excellence on a global scale.

We are actively working toward launching our first major gathering in sync with the ArtsGames timeline. The IAC’s long-term plan includes world championships every two years and a full ArtsGames event every four years.

Get involved:
If you are a rhythm artist, educator, sponsor, or simply someone who believes in the power of rhythm to connect people, please reach out. You can help define what this conference becomes — whether as a speaker, collaborator, or partner.

Let us build this platform together. When our conference is ready, it will be a milestone for the IAPF and for every voice that drums in harmony for a more united world.
