The Answers to All Your Questions

We’ve put this page together to answer the questions we hear most often about the International Arts & Percussions Federation (IAPF).

Whether you’re an artist, a sponsor, or simply curious about how we work, you’ll find clear answers here. Think of it as a quick guide to who we are, what we do, and how you can be part of our growing rhythm.

The International Arts & Percussion Federation (IAPF) is a global movement that champions percussion, culture, and creativity as tools for social change. Think of it as the Olympic Games of the arts, where drummers, percussionists, and cultural innovators are given a world stage to perform, learn, and connect.

NAFs are country-level bodies established under IAPF to represent local percussion talent. They organize competitions, training, and cultural programs in their regions, ensuring grassroots artists can rise to the global stage. Every country can form its own federation under IAPF’s umbrella.

Yes! We organize local and international competitions where percussionists can showcase their talent. Winners may get the chance to represent their nation at the ArtsGames, our global stage for artistic excellence.

Our headquarters are in New Brusnwic, Canada, but our reach is global, with federations and partners growing across Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

IAPF is a proud partner of the ArtsGames initiative, which unites Olympians and artists under one banner: creativity for humanity’s betterment. While ArtsGames celebrates all art forms, IAPF focuses on percussion as a universal language of rhythm and unity.

Not at all. We also invest heavily in education, training, and cultural exchange. From school programs to professional certifications, we’re building a sustainable pipeline for future percussionists and cultural leaders.

Absolutely. We welcome event volunteers, mentors, educators, fundraisers, and culture enthusiasts. Whether you play an instrument or not, there’s space for you in our rhythm.

Not at all. Whether you’re a seasoned percussionist or just discovering rhythm, there’s a place for you. Our federations welcome beginners, semi-professionals, and professionals alike.

A NAF is a country-level body that organizes local artists, builds programs, and connects with IAPF globally. It’s the entry point for percussionists to access competitions, training, and opportunities.

Partnering with IAPF means aligning with a global movement that uses rhythm and culture to unite communities. Your brand will be associated with creativity, heritage, youth empowerment, and social impact on a global scale.

Yes. We work closely with international bodies like ArtsGames and have a growing network of federations worldwide. Sponsorship connects you to both local communities and global audiences.

Not at all. Our volunteers include event planners, mentors, fundraisers, educators, and cultural enthusiasts. If you’re passionate about the arts, we have a role for you.

If your country doesn’t yet have one, contact us at info@iapfederation.org. We’ll provide guidelines, governance structures, and training resources to help establish a recognized federation.

We welcome sponsorships for events, competitions, education programs, and cultural exchanges. Both financial and in-kind support (like instruments or training facilities) make a huge difference.

While not officially part of the Olympics, IAPF is linked to the ArtsGames, an initiative inspired by the Olympic spirit of unity, except through culture and creativity rather than sport.

Donations can be made directly through our website. Every contribution helps us provide instruments, fund workshops, and give artists access to global opportunities.
