At IAPF, our Regional Volunteers are the lifeblood of our global mission. We’ve structured our movement to reflect the world’s great cultural clusters. That’s why we have eight dedicated Regional Volunteer teams, each rooted in a specific region: Asia, South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, Spanish-speaking countries, and Indigenous nations.
We believe that rhythm and percussion transcend borders. But every region has its own stories, traditions, and needs. Our volunteers help us tailor programs that respect those differences.
Our Regional Volunteers serve as connectors: they bring the IAPF mission into local communities, foster national federations, and spark participation.
They support everything from education to competition, helping translate our global goals into grassroots action.
They help us build and sustain National ArtsGames Federations (NAFs) across countries. The IAPF is in service of a vision that spans 196 countries.
Each Regional Volunteer team:
Scouts and supports emerging percussion talent in their region
Helps set up education and training programs aligned with IAPF’s standards
Works with local federations and governments to advance rhythm as a unifying force
Organizes cultural-exchange projects, workshops, and community performances
Advocates for the inclusion of underrepresented traditions and artists in our global structure
Here are our eight regional clusters, each guided by passionate volunteers:
If you identify with one of these regions, I invite you to step forward. Here’s how to get involved:
Sign up as a Regional Volunteer: share your passion, cultural knowledge, and energy.
Help us build local federations or strengthen existing ones.
Lead workshops, mentoring sessions, and community outreach in your region.
Advocate for percussion’s role in education, heritage, and social change.
As a Regional Volunteer, you become a steward of rhythm, you help shape IAPF’s global future while rooting our mission deeply in your own community.
